01About

I build the unglamorous parts of the internet — the APIs, control planes, and edge services other engineers depend on. Go and Kubernetes on the surface; BGP, anycast, kernel-adjacent debugging, and quiet incident response underneath.

At Cloudflare I shipped features for large enterprise customers and owned services through their full lifecycle: spec, code, rollout, on-call, postmortems. I've spent the last year going all-in on AI-native development with Opencode + Claude — Opus for architecture, Sonnet for the loop — cutting time from spec to production by roughly half.

I like systems that are observable, rollouts that don't drop connections, and code reviews that change minds. Currently in the SF Bay Area, open to senior IC roles building infrastructure that has to actually work.

Senior Systems Engineer

Cloudflare
San Francisco Bay Area, CA
  • Designed and shipped Go services on Kubernetes, powering APIs that operate on Cloudflare's global edge — a network that averages tens of millions of HTTP requests per second.
  • Adopted an AI-native development workflow with Opencode + Claude (Opus for architecture and project planning, Sonnet for code generation and iteration), cutting time from spec to production by ~50%.
  • Shipped features for large enterprise customers, translating their requirements into functional specs and code in production.
  • Owned production services through the full lifecycle: on-call rotation, incident response, postmortems, and follow-through on action items.
  • Drove safe rollouts of infrastructure changes across Cloudflare's global server fleet without disrupting active connections.

Software Development Engineer

Applied Systems Engineering
Campbell, CA
  • Built data extraction pipelines converting unstructured network protocol output into structured, queryable datasets ready for ML workflows.
  • Designed a Python/SVM classifier that identifies SCADA substation connections via network signatures and auto-retrieves the correct configuration files — cutting field engineer onboarding time by 90% and eliminating config-mismatch errors.
  • Worked directly with customers to validate new features and contributed to product roadmap discussions.

Software Engineer Intern

Delta Electronics
Fremont, CA
  • Built OpenHardwareAPIs — a Python library that controls bare-metal switch hardware. Open-sourced under DeltaProducts/OpenHardwareAPIs.

Edge API services

GoKubernetesAnycast
Go services on Kubernetes powering Cloudflare's customer-facing APIs, deployed across the global edge. Designed to absorb >10M HTTP req/s without dropping active connections during rollouts.

Rolling out infra changes across a global fleet without dropping connections

What "safe rollout" actually means when your servers are talking to a non-trivial fraction of the internet at once.
